Looking at the Great Magazines website, I was disappointed to see the magazine subscription categories as: Women’s; Entertainment; Motoring; Sport; Hobbies; Puzzles. This suggests to me, as a woman, that I shouldn’t be interested in any of the magazines apart from those under the ‘Women’s’ section, which includes: Fashion; Gossip; Health; Lifestyle; Baby. Equally, it suggests that men shouldn’t be interested in any of these areas. I find this sexist, exclusive and patronising. Thank you.
