Proportion of women who never have children has doubled in a generation, ONS figures show

Erm.. doesn’t exactly factor in women who never wanted children, just assumes they’ve failed or made a mistake. Every childless woman I know except one is childless by design, because they don’t want a family or like myself because of thinking though the consequences of poor health /genetic problems. But the whole narrative revolves around women who have failed or misjudged their own fertility. It’s not science.

Perhaps these statisticians should just collect data not massively extrapolate from it…
