We had a man come in to talk to us in a business lesson in school. He was talking about products and where they would be placed on a business model. For example a vacuum cleaner sports car etc. After that we can onto catwalk fashion and costume jewellery and he said of course we have to talk about these for all the girls in the room! (He didn’t say anything like that for sports cars).
After this he started talking about jobs in STEM ( science technology engineering and maths) and he said while talking about engineering that he didn’t expect women to be putting on overalls and go into a job such as plumbing.
