My sisters love ‘boys programs’ on kid’s channel which I’m all for but I notice that there is always only one girl. In any kid’s programs that aren’t ‘just for girls’ there is always a group of protagonists with all boys with different personalities and talents. Then there is one girly girl who wears pink and loves clothes and dolls. And if they don’t have that then they are a tomboy who is really touchy and mean. Not that either of these are wrong but it is the fact that kids are grown up with either girls are ‘girly and pink’ and if not they are bitchy. I’d like some diversity please. Like on Netflix I was scrolling through and saw a kid’s program that said: He’s got strength and speed. She’s got skills and spunk. It’s feels like the guy gets the powers and the girl gets…spunk? What is that even supposed to mean? Also my oldest little sister wanted to choose movies and she picked out Snow White but I refused because it lacks consent and sends horrible messages to kids. But that is complicated for a young kid so I said that the prince was lot older then Snow. But she said it didn’t matter. I told her that Snow White was my age and the prince might not be nice. She retorted that it was true love because he was nice and Snow White could only be saved by a handsome boy which was shocking. My sister is getting taught to like paedophilia, hate consent, that the only aceptable sexuality is hetro and that a girl couldn’t save someone. And she is not even four and a half.

I have a modestly successful YouTube account for Disney fan videos, and a Facebook page to accompany it. All today I’ve been getting messages on the Facebook page from someone who calls themselves Donna, although their profile says Jacob and they claim Jacob is their brother. But then I started getting messages from “Jacob” himself, under another profile, and he started telling me to text him, call him, etc. and eventually said he wanted to “give my butt a slap.” I immediately blocked him – both profiles, as I am no longer sure if I was actually talking to a girl named Donna. I also blocked them on YouTube to ensure my own safety. Here’s to hoping he doesn’t create more profiles and continue to harass me, especially since reporting doesn’t do much good.
