Went to a Lego Discovery Center with my family. Discovered that boys get targeted with much more interesting kits (ningago, Star Wars, action heroes) than girls, who get girl characters who sit around in houses and spas and such. Boring! Plus the Lego 4D movie has one girl, seen at first as a princess in need of help with a lame horse. Then she is given a necklace charm which she uses to build a new sword for the king. The sword maker proceeds to wield the sword to get them out of several jams while she hits the bad guys with…what else…a random pan. It was her sword and she didn’t get to use it!! She was the only female in the whole movie. It was disappointing.
