My uncle told me that if I want to have a successful career, I can’t date a man or be in a relationship. I have to be focused on my career. My dad helped me to choose a pair of shoes. He said that one has to push me towards happiness. He “joked” that he would help me to find a boyfriend too. My brother said he’s curious about when I’ll be in a relationship again. My mum’s statements aren’t as obvious but she shows that she wants me to marry a man, get pregnant and live somewhere nearby. Everybody keeps commenting on my relationship status. My thoughts don’t really matter.
