when i lost my virginity with my now ex, i wasn’t ready. on the day, i met with my then boyfriend outside and decided to not wear a bra as i was wearing a big jumper and wanted to be comfortable. i think he took this as an indicator that i wanted to lose my virginity that day, despite me saying no multiple times until i gave up and said a reluctant yes. we were in a park and also had no condoms so there were lots of reasons as to why i didn’t want to have sex. i felt very uncomfortable the whole time especially considering he was very experienced and we were outside. the day after i went to get a morning after pill alone. i didn’t realise until a few months later, after i had broken up him how bad i felt about the situation. during this relationship, he also took videos of me giving him head without my consent, and coerced me into saying yes many times. i am now scared of being with anyone sexually as i don’t want my no’s to be ignored again.

I have a modestly successful YouTube account for Disney fan videos, and a Facebook page to accompany it. All today I’ve been getting messages on the Facebook page from someone who calls themselves Donna, although their profile says Jacob and they claim Jacob is their brother. But then I started getting messages from “Jacob” himself, under another profile, and he started telling me to text him, call him, etc. and eventually said he wanted to “give my butt a slap.” I immediately blocked him – both profiles, as I am no longer sure if I was actually talking to a girl named Donna. I also blocked them on YouTube to ensure my own safety. Here’s to hoping he doesn’t create more profiles and continue to harass me, especially since reporting doesn’t do much good.

too curious

Something I read mentioned a classical music piece, so I look up videos, of course. One of the first choices is a female pianist. Amazing stunning beautiful playing. Since I have no classical music knowledge I look at the comments. To see if it’s ‘technically’ as impressive as it sounds. Just curious. Apparently it was. It was commented on many times **after** how beautiful, sexy, charming, etc. she was. There are a lot of female pianist listed as as other ‘related’ choices. Yay! Spent some time listening to some wonderful music. And the comments are quite clear these women play beautifully And they’re sexy, sweet, charming, and look that little smile! too. Okay, I think to myself maybe I’m just being too critical. This is a visual medium. I’m looking at live performances. Maybe it’s the same for male pianists. So, fantastic, more time listening to lovely music. Sadly, though, while I listen I go through pages and pages of comments. Most discuss the performance or the piece of music played. A couple of comments about sweat dripping down one pianist’s nose. Of course, this is a compliment; a sign of the work required. *One* person pointed out a specific time where they thought someone’s hair looked odd. Once one person commented on how the pianist was ‘over-acting’. None of the male pianists had comments on how handsome or masculine looking they were. Which may be sad for them. Of course, they also don’t have to worry that if they’re not beautiful no one will care if they play beautifully.
