drinking

Anon

In 2019, I was engaged to a man who is a third grade teacher. He is white and 50 years old. Even though we were sexually intimate regularly, I believe he gave me a roofie and assaulted me. He took me to a bar in an expensive restaurant where I had one drink. I have absolutely no memory after consuming some of that drink. He told me he had to carry me out. He photographed me slumped over in his car. He said we had “crazy” sex. I had bruises and cuts on my body. I remember nothing. But based solely on his admissions, I believe he put a roofy in my drink at that bar for the purpose of asserting power and control over me and assaulting me.

There was one time I stayed at a friend’s house after a night out. She invited a few other people to stay as well, men and women, but the men stayed downstairs on the sofa. I was upstairs in bed, asleep, and I was on my period so I decided to sleep fully clothed. I suddenly had an urge to wake up and it was early morning. One of the men who I had been out with was pressing his body up against the back of my body and his hand was down my leggings and almost touching me. I felt disgusting that he had snook into the room and into the bed without me even knowing. As soon as I noticed I grabbed his hand and pulled it out from my pants and ran downstairs. I had a panic attack and cried as this was one of my boyfriend’s best friends. I never confronted him myself, but my boyfriend did. His only words were ‘I was drunk’. I then recieved a message from him the next day saying: ‘I’ve been told you were upset with me last night, what happened?’ but I know for a fact he knew what happened. I ignored it and have stayed silent about this ever since.

So I went out with friends to some friends of one of them. We were drinking and we all slept over at that house. I was lying next to this guy and we were both drunk and he started to grab my boobs and i didn’t do anything against it. A few moments later he started to get on top of me and started rubbing his dick on me… luckily i was abel to push him off and he stopped…

Rape?

Even today, UK law is written saying a rapist must use “His Penis”. Therefore a woman cannot commit rape! I I’m a 17 year old guy and got very drunk at a party. Passed out on a bed upstairs, I awoke to find a woman had pulled down my pants, stimulated my to make it hard and climbed on top of me, penetrating herself. I struggled and pushes her off, fleeing the room as she calls me names! How is that not rape? It was unwanted, nonconsensual and a violation, yet the law as written in 2003 says I was not raped! My male friends just laughed it off and my female friends get really aggressive if I even try to say it I was raped! They argue saying that its not possible for a woman to rape a guy, yet I can’t stop thinking about it. I was violated yet nobody cares if you’re male! How is any of this possible in today’s society!

I work on weekend nights selling food to the drunk people on a night out. We naturally talk to the people in the bars and the doormen, so i thought nothing of it when i was on a Night out myself, that i then also would continuesly talk to the people befriended from work. I went into a dark corridor of the club, one only used by staff. One of the men i had befriended was there and i thought nothing of it, cause we were just friends, a kind of colleages. As i walked past him to get to the door leading into the club, he kissed me, hard and unexpected… he pushed me up against the wall and i scrambled to get to the doorhandle. He held my arms above my head and put his hand into my pants. I escaped him and barged through the door and straight into a bussy club where people stared at me. It was the most horrible experience of my life, and i cant stop crying and worry about next time i go to work.

I was sexually assaulted by a friend in high school. We were all drinking in my friend’s house. I was sleepy and myself a girl friend and my male friend were all sitting on a couch watching TV. There were several other people in the room, both male and female. I said I was a little too drunk and wanted to go to sleep. My male friend asked me if I wanted him to show me to the bedroom. I said, yes, that I wanted to sleep for a bit (it was late evening but not yet night). Several people began jeering and whistling when he said that which I found embarrassing. I trusted my friend. His girlfriend was a close friend of mine and I always thought of him as very kind and trustworthy. He led me upstairs and showed me the spare bedroom. I lay down and heard him walk out… well I thought he walked out. He walked to the door, and shut it then joined me in bed. I was immediately afraid and confused and embarrassed. I shut my eyes and acted like I was incredulous to him laying there. Maybe if he thought I had already gone to sleep he would just leave the room…. He started trying to ‘rouse me awake. I shrugged him off and told him I was tired and just wanted to be left alone. He put his hand up my shirt. I pushed his hand away and asked him to ‘please just stop’. He got angry. Kept grabbing me, putting his hand down my pants, up my shirt and grabbing my hand putting on his crotch. He got on top of me and began trying to remove my clothes. Telling me , ” Don’t worry… I know you want to do this.” I didn’t . I just kept asking him to stop. He would vacillate between anger and gently persuasion . I tried to role into the fetal position and just asked him over and over to leave me alone. I was so embarrassed, anxious and admittedly afraid. I was also incredibly confused and hurt. I really enjoyed being his friend. I valued my friendship with his girlfriend and I was only just beginning to date one of our own mutual friends. He eventually , frustrated with my behavior, masturbated onto me while I lay in the bed asking him to stop, then left the room and joined the party. I was too humiliated to leave the room but too afraid to stay there. I waited until the party died down and called my friend to come get me. My shirt strap was torn, I had scratches and bruises on my chest and I was very upset. I went to her house and showered and bought clothes. She was very sympathetic but advised me not to tell anyone. That decision was made for me. The next day I went to our local coffee shop to meet with our friends . I hoped he wouldn’t be there. He was. I begged my friend not to confront him. I wasn’t ready. I didn’t know what to say or how I felt about everything yet. She was mad so she questioned his behavior. In front of everyone I cared about, everyone who’s friendship I relied on soo much at that time he took a large rock and smashed it into his face. Bleeding and yelling loudly. Everyone went to him asking him to stop, to calm down, comforting him. They told him ‘ he was drunk, I’m sure nothing like that happend’. ” we all saw MaKenzie flirting with you, I’m sure it’s just a misunderstanding.” They hugged him, they comforted him, they asked me to come over and tell him I wasn’t mad, that it was all a mistake… to APOLOGIZE TO HIM. And… I did. I apologized. I asked him to allow us all to remain friends. I asked everyone else to just stop bringing it up, to go back to before. Not to ‘make a big deal out of it”. I honestly believe part of my personality died that day. I still see him. I am married with a child and another on the way. More than 10 years has gone by and I still get physically ill to hear his name. To see him at social gatherings. To accept his hugs or Christmas cards. I am so disappointed in myself.

Defense on the Dance Floor

I was at a club with a few of my friends from high school, four girls together, we’d been travelling all day and were just visiting the city so we were wearing clothes comfortable for the weather, tank tops and shorts and sneakers but we’d felt like dancing. We were all fumbling through our awkward dance moves when a man reeking of alcohol came up to one of my friends and started rubbing his crotch all over her and muttering things like “ooh yeah honey”. For a moment the other three of us just stood there, and I am ashamed to say I had a moment where I wasn’t sure if my friend wanted this or not but then when I saw the fear in her eyes I spun her away from him and said she was my partner while another of my friends went to inform security that he had a little too much to drink.
