Poppy

I am in a loving and respectful long-term relationship. Every time I go on a night out and get creeped on by a man and tell him ‘no thanks, I have a boyfriend’, the normal response is ‘well, he doesn’t have to know’, followed by a continuing attempt to touch my bum or gawp at my boobs. As if, in an instant, I would throw away the love of my life for some sleazy man objectifying me in a bar. What makes some men think that this is ok? I’m a tough girl and I can stand up for myself, but I rarely ever go on nights out dancing anymore because of the sheer amount of men that make me uncomfortable. It’s just not worth it.
