I remember that back in sex education, in Year 7 (aged 11) we were told about the ‘penis’. A friend of mine asked what the woman would do. The teacher told her, and I quote, ‘the females have a time of the month.’ That’s it. I asked her, and she sighed dramtically and says, ‘the female genitals produce and egg.’ So then, on our test for reproduction, the title says, ‘The penis and female genitals’. Bit vague, in my opinion.
