I am almost 60yo and get called mad cow if I put boundaries in place around bad behaviour from my husband…if I’m not compliant and “nice” any conflict this causes is blamed on menopause and what is colloquially called mad cow disease…if I stand up for myself he says it’s like being married to Germaine Greer…I take that as a compliment 🙂
