Eating my morning toast today which I had spread with Frank Cooper’s Coarse cut Marmalade, I started reading the label on the jar (go on, we all do this sometimes) and was incredibly annoyed to discover that marmalade was, in fact, created by Sarah Jane Cooper in her Oxfordshire family kitchen. Have just emailed the owner of the product (a company called Hain Daniels which also own the Linda McCartney brand among many others) to suggest that I will not eat any more of their marmalade until it is renamed Sarah Jane Cooper’s Coarse Cut Maramalde.
