15 years ago I was walking past Balham tube station on a warm day. A group of three men of similar age to me were walking towards me and one of them put his face in my chest (I was wearing a vest top, it was warm) and ‘motorboated’. It lasted seconds and they all laughed and kept walking while I stood frozen on the spot, shocked and humiliated. No-one stopped to see if I was ok and there were people around. I walked home in tears. I am still not over the anger I feel at the entitlement they showed to my body, the humiliation I felt and that I didn’t punch him in the face or scream or react at all.
